The Sweet Arrival of Sugar ...

After a quick approval process with the Humane Society, we went into the "Kitten Nursery" area of the shelter. After peeking into several of the kitty cages, a beautiful almost all white kitten with siamese features and gorgeous blue eyes stared out, wanting to be held.

An hour or so later, "Boo", as he was named by the shelter, came home to become "Sugar". He instantly got his own room since he couldn't yet share space with his big brother, Pooh, but it was safer that way for both of them! Pooh wasn't so sure he wanted a little brother, even though he'd been making friends with the fern plant for weeks, but he wasn't sure he meant a REAL, jumping and scampering little brother!! And Sugar, all 2.5 pounds of him when he first came home, wasn't yet ready to compete with a 14 pounder!!

So, on 5/6/06 life got a little sweeter with the addition of Sugar to the family. Life is good!
