Now the candy cane is LUNCH!
Soon after Sugar realized that he had a new toy, it quickly became a snack! He uses his paws and teeth on everything, the new peppermint flavored toy being no different! When he broke through the plastic wrapper, I was sure he would dump the candy cane onto the floor, running away trying to get the minty taste out of his mouth (it's not a salmon or tuna flavored treat, after all!). No such luck! He probably would have eaten the candy had I let him - he really enjoyed it!

tigerlily recently went after a bag of mini marshmallows that i accidentally left out on the counter--and apparently the little weasel likes marshmallows (not that i will ever let her try them again). so he is not the only one with a bit of a sweet tooth.

Hi, Sugar. Mama let me try a candy cane, but I thought it was yucky. Sasha, the cat who came before, loved marshmallows, and liked when mama made rice crispie bars for work, cause she could count on at least one or two ending up on the floor!

awwww your Sugar baby I love your blog! You are soooooooo handsome and adorable! I have my OWN blue eyed Sugar too and i totally worship him!! His full name is Sugar Booyah Motorhead but he mostly goes by the name Boo!! After reading your adventures I realized my Sugar is as crazy as you! He has 2 brothers and a sister to bug all day long! Maybe I will start a blog or at least post a pic of my Sugar! He's a handsome blue eyed tonkinese, 1 year old. I rescued him from the bushes outside my office bldg in Nov 2005 where he was hiding and barely alive. Just over a year later I am happy to say that Sugar Booyah Motorhead has grown into quite the handsome young man with plenty o' cattitude!! Keep rockin Sugar!
